Compensation: $45–$55 per hour (based on role and experience)
Reports To: Clinical Leadership / Program Supervisor

Our team delivers evidence‑based intervention and support across OAP core clinical services, tutoring, executive function coaching, and social and life skills development.

Position Summary

Holisticare is seeking Registered Teachers to support individualized academic programming for neurodiverse learners within our OAP service delivery model. In this role, you will design and deliver structured, evidence‑informed instruction that promotes academic skill development, functional literacy and numeracy, and school readiness.

Services are delivered across a variety of settings, and the role involves close collaboration with clinical professionals, educators, and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver individualized academic programming aligned with client learning profiles and IEP goals
  • Design structured instructional programs to support academic development and school readiness
  • Implement evidence‑based instructional strategies, including structured literacy, direct instruction, and task analysis
  • Monitor, track, and document academic progress using data collection tools
  • Prepare written progress reports and participate in team meetings as required
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists (OT), Speech‑Language Pathologists (SLP), Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), and families to ensure integrated support
  • Maintain ethical, professional, and client‑centred practice standards

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification (OCT) in good standing
  • Experience working with students with ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, or other neurodiverse profiles
  • Strong instructional planning, classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Valid vulnerable sector criminal record check (or willingness to obtain)

Assets:

  • Special Education Part 1 or additional qualifications
  • Knowledge of OAP service delivery and Ministry of Education IEP guidelines
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary or non‑traditional educational settings
  • Bilingualism (English/French)
